- Notes from "The Family of James Stephens:"
Sarah Catherine was botn on February 20, 1855 at the family home in Howard Township, Kent county, Upper Canada. Although she died before she was two years old, she had learned to walk and talk. Her mother used to tell how she surprised everyone one day as she took her sister's hand and said; "Come Belle", when she wanted to go for a walk. Her death was on October 25, 1858. [2]
