Top of Form 1 Holliday/Willingham/Johnston/Ayers Posted by: Curtis Holliday Date: January 14, 2001 at 13:35:23 I would like to share info on the Holliday, Willingham, Johnston, and Ayers families who lived on Little River in the late 1700s and 1800s. William Holliday Sr. married Ann Ayers and named a son Ayers Holliday b.ca.1760. Ayers married ca.1791 to Olivia Johnston, daughter of Samuel Johnston and Olivia McCarty of Columbia Co. After Samuel Johnston died his widow married Thomas Willingham. Ayers Holliday left Lincoln Co. ca.1808 and settled in Marion Co., MS.
