  Conflicts in the Howard Family Tree 31p manuscript: 1. HFT says her mother is Hannah Leighton (first wife of James Howard), but HFT dates say Hannah Leighton (b.1796 d.1840) died before the birth of Hannah Howard (b 1849 d.1935).  Therefore Hannah Howard is shown here as the daughter of Jame's Howard and his second wife Jane Shyrock (b. 1812 d. 1867). 2. HFT p30 lists Mary Jane as a daughter, but no mention of Hannah. Also: Prob. the Hannah Howard that appears in the 1930 census, MD, Caroline Co., Dist 17, age 80, mother-in-law, living with Ernest Towers, his wife Laura and 2 children E. Grover, Katherine. Gravestone is located in the Towers plot next to Laura L. Towers.
