  Sarah A. Payne - Obituary Denton Journal, Denton, Maryland, 20 Apr 1907, Sat., Page 5 "Mrs. Sarah A. Payne, wife of James L. Payne, died at her home in Bethlehem on Thursday, aged 77 years. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons -- John H. Reese of Baltimore, and Mr. Samuel L. Payne, of Philadelphia. Mr. J. Ed Nichols, Dr. F. N. Nichols and Mrs. W. C. Pastorfield, of this place, are grandchildren of the deceased. Funeral services will bo held at o'clock this afternoon."
