  From "American Boyers": "3- AG13 Gabriel Boyer, b. Oct. 5, 1772, d. June 26, 1827, Germantown, Pa. Like his father, he was a powerful man.  He came to work in Germantown on a farm owned by his mother's sister, Mrs. Margaret (Smith) Bloyd.  His mother had a third sister, Catherine, the wife of Thomas Wilson, whose daughter Margaret he later married.  Boyer Street and Bloyd Street in Germantown are named after them.  The old house stood on Boyer Street.  Farmer. His will was made Apr. 19, 1827, and was probated Aug. 23, 1827; recorded in Book 9, page 84, at Philadelphia.  The will of his brother David Boyer (3-AG19) was made and probated on the same dates; recorded in Book 9, page 85.  Gabriel married Margaret Wilson, b. Jan. 10, 1780, Abington, PA d. Feb 22, 1879.  Both are buried at Hood Cemetery, Germantown, Philadelphia Co., Pa. Children: James S., John W., Anna, Katharine, Margaret, Rebecca, and Jeannette.
