  • Notes
    • Darcy McKeough Notes:

"Only reference Bradfield"  "Enclann - Tithe Applotment Assessment Records, Co. Carlow 'In 1837 the Civil Parish of Mayacomb, also known as Clonegal, townland of Coolroe, Lorenzo Stone was recorded as leasing 110.2.20 acres of land, valued at 5.02s 5d. for tithe composition.  Given the rarity of the name Stone, it would seem that this Lorenzo Stone may have been the eldest son of Thomas Stone.  We also noted a holding in the name of Joseph Stone, 107.2019 acres, valued at 4 14s, in this same townland (plot 6).  A photocopy of Lorenzo Stone's landholding at Coolroe is enclosed with this Report."
