Notes |
- Occupation: Carpenter, 1900 U.S. census.
Forty four Families notes: "PERCY VINCENT HOWELL, was born January 9, 1861, in Georgia, where he died January 1, 1902. Percy Howell had an unusual talent for music. He played ten musical instruments but refused to take the technique which might have made him a great musician. He played by ear most of the time. He was the first child of Dr. John McKinney Howell, M.D. and Emma Berrien Heard Howell, the daughter of Edmund and Elizabeth Thompson Heard. Elizabeth was the daughter of William Thompson, of New York, and his wife, Hannah Brooks, daughter of Daniel James and Sarah Berrien Brooks." [11]
