      Findagrave notes:
      Authoress

She is the subject of the book, "The Spinster and the Prophet: H.G. Wells, Florence Deeks, and the Case of the Plagiarized Text", by A.B. McKillop, c 2000. She became famous for her lawsuit against Wells, which began in 1925, over his "The Outline of History". McKillop's book is not only the story of the lawsuit, but also an excellent biography of Deeks. [2]
