Born in Franeker, Holland, Mr. Vriesenga moved to the Central Florida area in 1967 from South Hempstead, Long Island, NY. He was employed by the U.S. Naval Training Device Center as an electronics technician. Tom was a member of the Ham Radio Operators Club and his call sign was W2KCK. He loved his family and boating. He is survived by son Thomas A. Vriesenga, Orlando, FL; daughters Joan Plummer, Winter Park, FL and Patricia Hanano, Windermere, FL; and son Peter J. Vriesenga, Golden, CO; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends at the Goldenrod Chapel of Baldwin-Fairchild on Tuesday, October 14, 2003 between the hours of 6-9PM with a Wake Service at 7PM.
