Magee, 78, a long time resident and business executive of Berlin and Ocean City, died at the Berlin Nursing Home Thursday. The Burbage Funeral Home here, which is handling the arrangements, didn't know the cause of death. Prior to his illness he ad been active in many business and civic organizations. At the time of his death he was owner and president of Magee Auto Parts, Inc. in Berlin. He was a sone of the late Frank A. And Eva K. Magee. He had been active in the numerous Magee enterprises until his retirement. Magee was a charter member of the the Berlin Lions Club and twice served as president. He also served as District Governor of Lions International and was a charter member of the Ocean City Gold and Yacht Club. Magee had been president of the board of directors of the Berlin Building and Loan Association, a director of the Peninsula Bank and had served on teh advisory board of the Automobile Association of America. Magee was a 32nd degree Mason and member here of Evergreen Lodge 153, AF and AM, the Scottish Rite Bodies and Boumi Shrine Temple in Baltimore. Surviving are his wife, Mary H. Magee; three daughters, Bettie Lankford, Berlin, Nancy Hales, Dover and Marilou Kehoe, Carmichael, Calif.; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a brother, Paul F. Magee, Berlin. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Officiating will be the Rev. Robert L. Harris of Atlantic United Methodist Church, Ocean City, of which Magee was a member. Interment will be here in Sunset Memorial Park. The family suggests that contributions may be made to the Oncology Radiation Unit of the Peninsula General Hospital Medical Center, Salisbury, Md. 21801 or to a favorite charity."
