The South Shore Genealogical Society notes:
"Brookside is a large, very beautiful cemetery centered around a lake. Take Victoria Road east from King Street (the river) up two blocks. There is an entrance off Victoria to your right. Or carry on another block to York Street and turn right to another entrance just past the War Memorial. Inside this gate is a plaque displaying the history of this cemetery, the land for which was donated by Dean Wile."
